Fancy restaurant with a great historic atmosphere. Delicious food!! Pricey, but lunch time is a great time to go instead of dinner. Watch the Amtrak go by if youâ€™re lucky to be there during a train time.

First time there. First impressions fantastic. Great atmosphere. Great food . Special bithday menu for birthday person. With special birthday dessert. Service was great Love the place.

Lovely building - interior and exterior - and the ambience is great. The food, however, is the real star. Everyone in my party of 4 loved their food and we each had something different. If you want mouth tender great tasting steaks, mouth watering seafood, or anything in between I highly recommend Gandy Dancer. It's a star even amongst the other great Muer restaurants.

There is no dress code! We simply advise guests to dress for whatever occasion they are celebrating - no matter how casual or formal.

It is, but it's pricy, although not as pricy as graduation week when they jack up their prices and give you the bum's rush so they can turn the tables over. Surely there is somewhere else in Ann Arbor to more comfortably and liesurely celebrate a birthday!

They give you a free Creme Brulee

The Gandy Dancer restaurant was opened in 1970 but the building was constructed in the late 1880's. They also said that dead bodies used to be stored in the basement. I hope they're gone.

Expensive for the amount you get. Hopefully you're not very hungry
